With inspiring words from one of the honored guests and the stirring music of a talented young musician/singer, the annual “Bring Meetings Home” luncheon was a very moving occasion.
About 600 business, political and community leaders joined with the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce June 1 for the organization’s 38th Annual Luncheon held at the Downtown Hilton Hotel.
As the FWMBCC’s Annual Film and Movie Institute begins its 26th year, volunteers and sponsors are needed to make this year’s event a successful one.
More than 800 people packed the Hilton Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom June 2 to hear Earvin “Magic” Johnson inspire a group of young men from the “My Brother’s Keeper” mentoring program, and challenge the Fort Worth leadership to do more to help our youth.
