Save the Date for June 25th at Noon
Although it is the first Annual Luncheon since the coronavirus pandemic, this year is actually the FWMBCC’s 40th Annual Luncheon. It promises to be a major event because of our keynote speaker and our continued support from committed corporate sponsors. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kase L. Lawal, the non-executive Chairman of CAMAC International Corporation, a global enterprise with an interest in Banking, Engineering Services, and Refined products trading for markets in Africa, Europe, and North America. He is chairman of the Unity National Bank Board of Directors, the only nationally licensed and federally insured African-American-owned bank in Texas and Georgia.
This year’s luncheon will be mostly virtually, with a limited in-person session. We would like all our members and supporters to check out our website, Facebook, and other social media outlets to see how to tune in for Dr. Lawal’s speech on “Banking Relationships in Times Like These.” Be sure to tune in at 12 noon on June 25. The in-person event (again, limited to a small group because of covid protocol) will be at the Fort Worth Hilton Hotel downtown.
