Texas Young Professionals

Texas Young Professionals (TYP) is a community of professionals in their 20s to mid-40s across Texas. Our mission is to foster relationship-building, career development, entrepreneurial endeavors and civic involvement among young professionals. The TYP vision is to empower our members to be leaders in business and our local communities.

BRIDGE

BRIDGE is a black professional organization focused on bridging the gaps in leadership by connecting people, ideas, and opportunities. Our goal is to build a network of innovative professionals and provide opportunities to reach higher heights within respective professions through development; we encourage entrepreneurship and “pay it forward” service. BRIDGE is developed exclusively for educational, professional, and charitable purposes.

BRIDGE scholarship

The BRIDGE Black professionals organization is extending an opportunity to support future leaders in their higher education endeavors. The BRIDGE Scholarship Fund is provided for students entering an accredited college or university. The amount of the scholarship will be dependent upon available funds during the application year. Scholarship funds are not renewable at this time, and will only be applicable for the timeframe approved unless otherwise stated. An interview may be requested by the executive board to make the final decisions.

Steer FW

SteerFW is a young leaders group in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded in 2011 by Mayor Betsy Price, it became a non-profit entity in late 2016. Its primary goal is to foster civic engagement among emerging leaders in Fort Worth (and broader Tarrant County) every day. We’re here to be a resource and point of connection to help you understand the best ways to become involved in this city. You might make some great friends along the way, too.
